While mortgage rates have ticked up in recent months, they remain near historic lows, providing some relief to buyers. Additionally, the Federal Reserve has signaled that it will maintain its accommodative monetary policy stance to support the economy, which should help keep rates relatively low in the near term.

Despite the challenges posed by rising mortgage rates, the housing market remains buoyant, buoyed by strong demand and a desire for more spacious living arrangements.
